Vessel selection chart
The sizing of a vessel is dependant upon a number of factors including;
- seal housing pressure
- product temperature
- product being pumped / mixed
- product specific gravity
- shaft speed / size
To help identify which size of vessel you need we have produced a simplified chart showing;
- Product liquids split into groups
- Product temperatures
Use the chart to identify a similar fluid, then read off its operating temperature. This will identify the size of vessel required and whether or not additional cooling is needed. Check the different vessel volumes to confirm which size is most suitable for your application.
